SUMMARY:It’s Alive: Building a Digital Twin to Transform Your Work… and Your Life
DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence is advancing so quickly that last year’s breakthroughs already feel outdated. This session continues the AEE Northern Ohio tradition of our chapter member John Puskar delivering his annual “AI Update”—but this time with a dramatic new development. Our chapter member\, John Puskar\, who updated all at AEE World on AI developments and recently did an AEE-sponsored national webinar\, recently created a “Digital Twin”. \nAs Dr. Frankenstein said\, “It’s alive.”\nAnd now… so is my digital twin. \nFrom John about this meeting:\n“Using the newest generation of ChatGPT tools\, I have created a fully functional AI version of myself—an enhanced model of how I think\, decide\, prioritize\, and live. My digital twin reviews my stated life priorities across personal goals\, professional objectives\, family commitments\, fitness\, and mental health. It evaluates my daily agenda\, analyzes how well my schedule aligns with my goals\, highlights gaps\, and helps me make better choices about how I spend my time. It scores my progress across days\, weeks\, and months—creating a measurable picture of my life.\nIt’s been trained with an extensive questionnaire I will give you along with my CV and written narratives about what I have been doing and what I want my life to be like.” \nIn this session\, you will learn: \n\nWhat’s new in AI since last year’s AEE update\nHow digital twins are created using GPT-based tools—including the exact prompts and training methods I used\nReal examples of how I use my twin to manage projects\, produce content\, improve work–life balance\, streamline decisions\, and stay aligned with long-term goals\nWhy a digital twin can dramatically improve your professional effectiveness and your personal well-being\n\nYou will leave with practical steps\, templates\, and a simple roadmap to build your own digital twin—an AI partner that can fundamentally change the way you work\, think\, and live.\nThis session is ideal for engineers\, energy professionals\, and anyone who wants to use AI not just for analytics or automation—but for life design. \nAs is tradition at my facility at Workhub99 in Parma\, there’ll be an Eastern European meal commensurate with my heritage of stuffed cabbage\, kielbasa\, and sauerkraut\, “Way too much food”. It’ll be entertaining for both your palate and your head! I promise. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER! REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5:00PM ON TUESDAY\, DEC 16. \nLocation:\nWorkHub99\n11699 Brookpark Rd.\nParma\, Ohio 44130

He routinely appears and practices before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) on utility\, rate-making\, regulatory and litigated matters\, including representing energy trade associations in rate-making matters\, natural gas companies in utility matters and serving as lead defense counsel in several major PUCO investigations of certified retail energy suppliers. \n  \nKatie Emling\, Energy Analyst\, Brakey Energy\, is responsible for reporting and communicating bill analyses and regulatory issues that affect the quality and cost of energy. She monitors activity at PJM Interconnection\, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio\, and the state legislature\, and then identifies issues that may impact clients’ energy costs. Katie also analyzes customers’ usage and billing data to ensure accuracy and identify savings opportunities. \nKatie joined Brakey Energy in January 2018. Prior to Brakey Energy\, Katie spent five years as an Energy Efficiency Engineer in Michigan for DNV GL and Consumers Energy. Her work included managing the Michigan utility’s New Construction Energy Efficiency Rebate Program for commercial and industrial customers and assisting in the launch and operation of the utility’s commercial and industrial demand response program. \nKatie has held Certified Energy Manager® credentials through the Association of Energy Engineers. She holds a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from John Carroll University. Outside of energy work\, Katie enjoys baking\, cooking\, spending time with her daughters\, and working on her family’s farm in LaGrange alongside her husband. \nLunch will be served at 11:30am with the presentation beginning at 12:00pm. \nRegistration deadline is Tuesday\, March 10 at 5:00PM EST.
